The first ballet troupe in Bulgaria has 90 years of history. Excluding the modern repertoire, the whole maintains a respectable portfolio of nearly 30 classic titles, considered to be the most difficult – both financially and creatively. Among them you can see: “The Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “Don Quixote”, “La Bayadere”, “Coppelia”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Romeo & Juliet”, “Corsair”, “Carmen”, “La Dame aux Camelias”, “Zorba the Greek”, “La Sylphide”, “Cinderella” and more. Thanks to this indicator, the Sofia Ballet can be compared to theaters prominent places such as Bolshoi, Grand Opera and Covent Garden.
